My first set had a manufacturer flaw in one , the metal was exposed and when I used it it broke in half. I asked for replacement and the new product arrived before I sent the broken one. Now on to the tools…the silicone is flexible and very heavy duty for scraping out heavy dough or frosting from my mixer bowl. This design is exactly what I’ve been looking for. The question will be in the cleaning and long lasting wear. There is a hole in the handle where you can see there is a stainless liner between the silicone. My concern will be if water gets caught inside and bacteria. I’m so happy with this tool I hope it holds up.
