Having spent more than fifty years mixing my batter and dough with either a wooden spoon or an electric mixer, I was more than amazed at this design. Unlike a wooden spoon, the Danish is like a glider as compared to a boat anchor. Throw away the spoon! The Danish Dough Whisk mixes the batter and dough without effort, and doesn't make a mess in the bowl.The Danish whisk is not any more difficult to use than attaching and detaching the paddles to an electric mixer and watching it whirr for however many minutes. Considering that I no longer have to lift heavy equipment in and out of the cupboard, have paddles and whatever else to wash and take up-space in the kitchen, I would consider this as a suitable, earth-friendly replacement for mixing batter or dough in an electric mixer. For once the advertising blurb is true. Great design!
