I received my Kiinde Voyager today!At first glance it seems very well made. The stainless steel bottle is triple walled and vacuumed sealed.The cups are a heavy duty plastic. The stainless steel bottle holds about 16 oz of water (not filled to the brim, see pictures). The larger grey cup can easily hold the full 16 ounces and still fit a bottle.I filled the stainless steel bottle with boiling hot water from my tea kettle, assembled it back in the warming cups, and set it aside. The triple wall insulation did a great job of keeping the bottle cool to the touch even though the water was boiling hot. I let it sit on my counter for 3 hours. The blue lid on the stainless steel bottle did get pretty warm, but not hot enough to injure anyone. After 3 hours I tested the water and it was still 150 degrees :) I was able to heat a 2oz bottle of refrigerated milk in about 1 minute, using the small white cup and 8 ounces of the water. I heated a 4oz bottle of refrigerated milk in less than 2 minutes, using the larger grey cup and the remaining 8 ounces of water. I haven’t tried it yet, but it seems nice that the cups are plastic and if you needed to you could save the water and reheat it in the microwave.Overall I really like this travel bottle warmer. I would like to get a more accurate warming time, when my 4 week old baby isn’t waiting on me;) But for now, I’d say I would recommend this product. I look forward to trying it on-the-go!On a side note I saw someone ask on Facebook why this was any different that a thermos. I wondered too, but discovered it’s much better. The cups are designed to be the right size for the twist pouches as well as regular bottles without having the hot water overflow. The heating cups also conveniently screw together around the stainless steel bottle creating a nice little contained package that can be carried together in a bottle bag. With this set up I will have everything I need to feed my baby a breastmilk bottle away from home. I plan on packing it in the diaper bag with hot water in it ready to go to the sitters house. This way I don’t have to purchase a second bottle warmer for her house, and she doesn’t have to store one :)
