I no longer have flour all over my countertop, as it is contained in the circle. It makes it so easy to get a round shape, rather than the misshaped blob from a "free" roll. Be sure to generously coat the circle with flour before rolling, or it will stick to the plastic. Added bonus, nothing sticks to your rolling pin. I really love these things.
