Very good, and better than one might expect or hope to get from LTS milk. I purchased this for $18 in 2020 (now, $40 in 2024 after "Bidenomics"), it "expired" in late 2022, and I'm drinking it in 2024 over a year after "expiration." Considering this powdered milk is now almost 3.5 yrs old and 1.5 years past "expiration," the benefit is obviously having milk available on the shelf, for very long term. My overall impression is that it mixes best with a power mixer/whisk or blender on low setting (to avoid making it frothy). If you intend to drink it straight, it is best when very cold (ice) or chilled overnight in refrigerator. It has a very "fresh farm milk" taste, thick, and rich, with a slight chalkiness. (I prefer organic fresh 1% milk but enjoy whole, skim, and 2%.) I have drank a gallon or two of this powdered milk, when I ran out of fresh milk between grocery store trips. I also find it works very well for an ingredient in recipes that call for milk (smoothies, baking, etc.). I kept it on the pantry shelf until opened in late 2023, and then stored in the refrigerator once opened. Still working through it, it has lasted many months opened in the refrigerator. I'm very happy with the shelf life of nearly 2x as advertised. I'm happy with my purchase, but staggered at a 2x price increase in about 3 years. Inflation and more people prepping.... I will be watching for price reductions, and buying several more.In summary, it is a pretty good drinkable milk, and excellent for cooking/baking ingredient. It is best mixed in a blender on low settings, and best drank very cold in my experience.
