I wanted this mainly to make whipped cream in with my milk frother. I was concerned about the size because I didn't want the cream splattering all over my kitchen. It had to be deep enough to prevent a mess and this is. I got the 32oz and I really like the size. There is plenty of room for the cream to whip up and nothing splatters out. I'm sure I will use it for lots of things because the size is good and it's a decent weight. Not heavy but not thin and flimsy. I think the price is fair compared to other ones I looked at.I love the pitcher. I do not use it as it was marketed, I use it to make milk shakes, mix powder and water for stock, etc. It is easy to clean and very sturdy. As such I am very happy I bought it, it is extremely handy.I actually returned this item because it was too big. It did appear to be of high quality and I hated returning the item but it was too large.I use this to get my milk foam from my coffee maker and top my latte, it sits out next to the pot so appearance was a factor and this is very nice looking and is a nice size for foam for two people at a time (I like quite a bit). The little demi-spoons are a cute addition to my coffee station. One tip, some people complained about rust or spotting-I never put shiny stainless in the dishwasher, it will mark or rust over time. I just rinse and dry and it's ready to go.I love this i use it to steam and pour milk.I use this to heat up hot water for loose left tea. Stove-heat water works so much better than microwaved water for loose leaf tea. I got the 12 oz size which was perfect for one cup of tea. I love it.Just as anticipated. Trying very hard to migrate from using plastic based products, so this was just what I was looking for. It sits on the counter for convenient use with the coffee maker, refilling pet water bowls, etc. And as a bonus, there are measurement markings on the interior so there are other opportunities ahead!Good small and good quality
