Our Dulce de Chilé bar expands on the familiar taste of creamy 42% milk chocolate and toasted rice crispy with spicy notes of cascabel pepper and a dash of sea salt. That first bite is so familiar—sweet creamy milk chocolate melting between clusters of crunchy toasted rice. But then, something else challenges the taste buds. Faint notes of caramel merge with the subdued yet spicy heat of cascabel pepper while a dash of sea salt solidifies the union.
From the Chef “One day I tried the cascabel pepper and thought it was fantastic with caramel.” The name is a twist on the Dulce de Leche because it’s a milk chocolate bar, it has caramel and there’s the chile. All these ingredients inspired the title.
