I really liked this machine for the first couple of months! It was working so well! The whole reason I got it was because it has such high bar pressure AND the ability to do single or double shot pours so I wouldn't have to stand there and watch it and turn it off when it poured my shot of espresso.Most machines I was finding that had the controlled shot options, were not as high bar pressure so I was excited to find this one. However, after just a couple of months, the controlled pour options stopped working. One morning I pushed the double shot button and walked away expecting to come back to a fresh poured double shot. I could hear the machine still going for longer than it usually does when pouring this shot so I went in to check, and there was espresso ALL OVER the counter and floor! It no longer stops at a single or double shot and instead just KEEPS going. Now I have to stand there and watch it to keep it from overflowing. It's really inconvenient as I like to be able to push the button and walk away to finish my morning routine. I basically just don't even make espresso during the week as much anymore, I save it more for the weekends when I have more time in the mornings because I honestly just don't really want to wake up earlier than I already have to every day just to stand there and watch my espresso pour to avoid a mess. Really disappointed that I didn't even get a full year out of this. Probably would've just bought another one if it had lasted at least that long, but if I can't even get a year out of it, I won't be getting another. Hopefully others have better luck, other than this issue it was a great machine!
