My breastfed daughter was getting treated for thrush and it felt like her medication prescribed was not getting rid of it completely so I started these and before I know it, her thrush did leave. I don’t really know if it was her medication or this, or both?? But I’ve been taking it ever since and thrush has not returnedMay just be a me issue, but once I started taking this, my breast milk started getting sticky. Even though I nursed and pumped like every hour or so I ended up getting multiple clogged ducts. After days I decided to stop taking all supplements and add them back one by one and as soon as I added this back it happened again. Unfortunately I can’t return- one item I truly regret wasting money on.So I bought the toddler probiotic for my 3 year old who I couldn't get to take a chewable. Was relieved to find something that is a powder and can be mixed in a drink. My son has finished his drink with it as I don’t think there is any flavor to it (I didn’t taste it). On the days when. I can get him to finish the beverage, he is a toddler after all, he usually has a bowel movement. I have told many mom friends about this discrete probiotic that’s easy to get them to take because they just have to finish some juice or cold water. I feel very relieved to have stumbeled up pin the toddler probiotics.I also take the postnatal probiotics and have found great benefits to them as well!My Nutritionist recommended this probiotic after my baby was born to help with gas, constipation, and overall digestion for both my son and myself. I breastfeed my son full time so when I take it, he gets the benefit through the breastmilk. He used to wake up around 4/5 am grunting and moving his body all around. It seemed like he was trying to have a bowel movement or pass gas but was half asleep. This would affect my husband and I's ability to sleep because he was uncomfortable and unsettled. Once we started the probiotic this behavior subsided and he started sleeping better into the morning. I've been taking this for a few months now and recently joined the subscription since its been so helpful. If you are looking for a probiotic to help you/your baby postpartum, I would recommend LoveBug! My only other feedback is that sometimes 1 or 2 tablets are broken in half. I usually find the other half and take them together so its really not a big deal but it might be good to know.Bought this after my newborn got thrush due to antibiotics in c-section delivery. I believe it helped eliminate the thrush (in addition to the prescription doctor gave). My baby also had been having a lot of gas and stomach pains during her first few weeks of life that caused her to be very fussy and colicky almost every night. Since taking these probiotics, she has greatly improved in that area as well! It does cause slight stomach ache in me a few hours after I take it, but it does seem to keep me regular as well, so I guess that’s just a sign it’s doing it’s work. I try to take it every other day so as to avoid stomach upset. Overall it seems to be a decent probiotic for a nursing mother. It is not the lowest priced option I researched but I believe it best fits my needs.Following the birth of my second child I had terrible gas that didn't seem to go away despite no change to my diet. I was already taking a probiotic, but it clearly wasn't working, so I looked into other probiotic options that might be more targeted to the current needs of my body. My research led me to Lovebug's Postnatal Probiotic, so I gave it a try. Within a week or so of using it, my gas level returned to normal, which I was thrilled about. I am also nursing and found that my infant's gas seemed to improve after I had been taking these for awhile.I have dealt with acid reflux off and on for many years. I started taking this probiotic during my postpartum because the reflux was at an all time high and attributed to developing lactose intolerance during my pregnancy. My gut was still so very sensitive to a variety of things that I wanted to try to give it the opportunity to regulate while boosting my overall health as I recovered from pregnancy and help me to produce more milk for baby. I feel like this product has definitely eased my tummy troubles, and is beginning to repair damage done long before pregnancy began.My baby’s pediatrician recommended these for me to take directly and this brand’s infant probiotics to also directly supplement my baby who has had severe gastro issues since birth. These seem to help me and I will update this review once it’s been long enough to assess the impact on my baby.I have docked one star because these have folic acid which as many as 40% of women are unable to process/absorb vs L-methylfolate which is the compound actually needed by our bodies. If folate is being added it would be great to see methylfolate vs folic acid used.
