Simple, straightforward, versatile and intuitive. Great for serious cooks, even more for those of us who are not that serious. I did not have to consult the instructions to put it together...out of the box, you can easily tell how to attach the whisk, frother and blender. The fact that it has the blending jar and not just a blending cup, allows for infinitely more uses than an immersion blender alone. You get a 2-fer: mini and immersion blender in one.As you can see in the pic, all the attachments fit in the plastic cup, along with the cleaning brush, while the motor unit fits on top of the blending jar. This makes keeping everything together a snap. It is solid, had weight to it, and feels comfortable in my hand.I used it July 25th for the first time to make banana and strawberry ice cream smoothies. I know bananas are not that difficult to blend.That said, here is what I looked forSimplicity-drop banana in tall plastic cup, attach blender, add milk, immerse blender...worked like a charm. Added ice cream, the vortex created by the blender sucked it to the bottom, it churned beautifully and mixed thoroughly with the now banana milk. I ended up with the blending cup half-full.I made a second smoothie. This time I doubled up all the ingredients. After mixing the banana and milk, I dropped in the ice cream. It floated on top, until I pressed the on-button. Since the cup was a little over 3/4s full, it took a little longer for the ice cream to make it to the bottom and get blended in...but only seconds longer.Unlike jar blenders, the ingredients are not thrown out and upward, so you do not have to worry about making a mess-everything is sucked to the bottom. Clean-up is a cinch. You simply, detach, slosh attachment in some soapy water, rinse, dry off and store.I cannot speak to the longevity, as I only used it once. I can see myself incorporating more fruit and veggies, and plan on making berry smoothies tomorrow. It also lends itself to pureeing my lobster bisque, and a variety of other things on the fly.That said, if you are making smoothies for 30, use a traditional jar blender. The same thing goes if you are making tons of stuff, or will need to blend something for a long time...but for single, or several servings, this does the trick without you having to go through the ritual of digging out your kitchen machine and trying to remember where you put all the attachments.The price point is also very attractive compared to other like immersion blenders.Customer service is prompt and responsive. I had a few question after unpacking it after it was delivered mid-morning. That night, the customer service rep had answered my questions.Update July 26th:Made raspberry peach smoothies. The blending jar worked perfectly. It made short shrift of the ice cubes, blended the raspberries and peach in seconds. I added a pinch of Lipton peach iced tea granules for an added a touch of sweetness and to kick the peach taste up several notches. My husband asked for another, but I was put of raspberries. I stopped at Aldi's that evening and stocked up on peaches, rasp & blackberries, nectarines and honeycrisp apples.Update Jul 28th:My husband and I start and end our days with fruit smoothies...yesterday I even made a third for myself. He has consumed more fruit in 3 days, than the past 3 years combined. I have dug out and added my flax seeds. I already ordered several pounds of blueberries and plan on adding kale & celery hearts in the future...some kiwi will work...I keep thinking of more combinations...I also add Arizona Mucho Mango to help crush the ice. It also helps the other fruit flavors to pop.Ok, last update...today, Fri Jul 30th will make day six of daily use and I do not see this changing. Yes, I know that there is sugar in the fruit, Lipton peach ice tea mix and AZ Mucho Mango, buuuut it is a lot less than the candy or other junk food that I was consuming when I get those cravings. I have also upped my intake of fiber, phytonutrients, and all the other good stuff when you consume the whole fruit/veggie.I will order this set for friends and family as gifts...finally something everyone can actually use that won't break the bank.Love the 5-in-1 Immersion blender - I use it all the time from - soups to salsa - a must have!Great Customer service! Piece broke from inside the chopper lid that connects to the blade shaft - contacted customer service - sent a picture of the broken piece and they were fast to act by having a replacement lid to be sent from their factory. Kudos!For the price and what it is it works well. Especially the chopping blades. If you are a "kitchen" person, this will not replace your standard blender. There two things I will never get back my time dealing with this and my $45 dollars ? very disappointingI love immersion blenders and I was quite happy with this one until the blender stick broke 4 months in to owning it. The blender rod just spins right out of its housing each time I try to use it. I have owned several immersion blenders over the years and have never experienced this before. I searched for a way to just replace the blender stick instead of buying the entire 5 and 1 kit again, and I cannot find this option.Update: A representative from the company did send me a complete replacement set and was very polite and helpful. I hope this one last longer and I am grateful they followed up with me.I live in an RV and space is precious. No room for a blender or all the other chores this small compact item performs. It's great.I’ve tested each component of this set, and have been impressed with the results! I was hesitant to buy based on a couple of the negative reviews, but I’m very happy I decided to try it anyway! The power is all there, even on the lowest setting. To note, it’s more like a variable speed than 12-speed, as one speed flows into the next as you turn the dial. But for a supposed 12-speed, the difference of speed is kind of narrow. That said, would anyone need more than what’s available on this 800 watt unit? Maybe if you were grinding rocks.The chopper attachment impressed me as I used it to chop my parsley harvest for the freezer, dice a chunked onion and red pepper, and turn bread slices into crumbs for my salmon cakes. It would work well for chopping cauliflower into “rice” also.The chopper lid isn’t my favourite feature though. It would help to have marks on the lid and container to match up for quick and easy installation. But this doesn’t disqualify the unit from my approval.The immersion blender attachment works as expected and better, although it really sucks to the bottom of the container! A handle and pour spout on the beaker would have been handy too.The frother works as expected.But one of the things I would have most appreciated is if everything but the handle could be dishwasher safe. Some pieces are, but some pieces aren’t. You have to read the manual to know which is and which isn't. I wouldn’t be able to trust my husband with remembering what can and what can’t go in the dishwasher, so I’ll just tell him it all has to be hand washed rather than risk him ruining the unit.I don’t know how durable this immersion blender is as I haven’t been able to test it for longevity, but in the few days I’ve owned and used it, I can say I’m not sure how I ever got on without it! It’s made an amazing addition to my kitchen, and has become just as irreplaceable as my Instant Pot and KitchenAid stand mixer!Primero: como dice el título, la caja interna que contiene el aparato con sus accesorios venia abierta, maltratada (cachos rotos) y el embalaje de los accesorios venia de igual manera abiertos. Creo que esto va más en contra del vendedor que del producto mismo.Segundo: Los materiales del producto son la mitad de acero de buena calidad y mitad plástico de mala calidad. Las partes plásticas que involucran los conectores de los accesorios con el motor/batidora y el regulador de velocidad de la batidora son de baja calidad y con potencial a romperse a la brevedad.Tercero: llevo literal 2 usos con el aparato y ya presenta una falla en el motor. Empezó a hacer un ruido como de "tronido" constante al batir leche con uno de los accesorios... es decir, que ni siquiera forzando el motor contra algún alimento rígido o que le presente resistencia.Resumen: Si sumamos que el empaque llego dañado, que claramente se ve que venía abierto y con previo uso y encima al hacer 2 usos del equipo y que ya esté fallando, es una clara señal de que el producto es malo y vendedor es PEOR.Extra: por favor investiguen bien la marca y reseñas fuera de Amazon para tener una mejor referencia de los productos que se encuentran aquí. Y dentro de Amazon, sean muy meticulosos con las reseñas. No porque tenga casi 5 estrellas quiere decir que ya es impecable el articulo...While I am happy with this immersion blender I only gave it a 4 star rating. The item arrive several days late. There was not packaging just an address label stuck on the product box and the box was in rather rough shape and had tape on it. The actual product appears unharmed so I don't know what happened but not quite up to Amazon standards.Update...After having the item for a few days I noticed a large scratch on it but it doesn't effect the function. It is a really great blender.
