I purchased the 50l model. It was unavailable, and they offered the 100l model for the same price. I need to make the important points clear.AM I SATISFIED WITH MY PURCHASE......YES.AM I HAPPY WITH MY PURCHASE.....THE JURY IS STILL OUT.WOULD I BUY THIS AGAIN...... YES, WITH RESERVATIONS.AM I SATISFIED WITH THIS VENDOR'S DEALINGS WITH ME..... 100% YES. I WAS TREATED BETTER THAN FAMILY.I will list the deficiencies. They do not preclude purchase. But, if you think you are getting anything more than the bare minimum, my next will disappoint.The welding is the worst I have ever encountered in a product offered to the public. It looks like my welding....poke and spark and it sticks together. Terrible welds. The stainless sheet metal stampings are of marginal quality and the entire weld around the rim is puckered and wavy from a lack of understanding how to weld broad, thin elements without warping. I am 75......but my wife's father would be 100 if he were alive. He was a sheet metal worker specializing in stainless steel. He would die of a heart attack seeing this machine.The pipe legs are cut straight across....when welded on at an angle, they only touch at one spot. All the welds are the minimum to hold the pieces together, but probably not up to any manufacturing standards. The hinge holding the lid is a stainless door hinge, and it is welded the worst of any component. PLUS.... the hinge is welded on the bottom of the lid, not the top where it should be. The temperature sensor in the tank was spun in so that it deformed the stainless shell dramatically. The spout is removable for cleaning. But, inside the drain hole that it attaches to, the welds are terrible, and there is a large crevice around the fit that has to be scrubbed religiously or milk will remain. ALL the welds are ROUGH....which allows for bacteria to hide from cleaning. Chinese threads are the WORST. It is very hard to get a good seal with these rough threads. You must use the best/$$$ pipe dope, or many wraps of Teflon tape. Many sharp edges from mfg.The wiring instructions and directions are a joke worthy of a Saturday Night Live skit. The crate was the exact size of the machine, with no padding. Any knock impacts the metal shell. Mine was damaged and they returned $300 for a repair. These folks worked with me every step of the way. They not only answered every question, they called and verified all the particulars for shipping. They corrected every deficiency.PUT THROUGH ITS PACES, THE MACHINE PERFORMED FLAWLESSLY. The electronic settings were easy to adjust and HELD THE TEMPERATURE TO +/- 1 DEGREE CENTIGRADE FOR 10 HOURS. The coils are adjustable from 2000W/4000W/6000W. I metered the current draw, and it was spot on. The mixing motor is a dream. We will mount a small muffin fan on the top of it to help cool it for extended operation. Remember, the motor heats and the paddles are in hot liquid. It needs extra cooling. THE INSULATION IS SO GOOD ON THE MACHINE that when it is at 160 degrees F, the outside of the tank is COOL TO THE TOUCH. When turned off, it only dropped a degree or two in an hour !! The machine is very well-thought-out but extremely rough quality.That being said, the machine costs less than 25% of what an equivalent, carefully constructed machine, would cost. We are a small, 10 cow, raw milk dairy. This allows a margin of safety during the Avian Flu disruption. I would never have been able to justify the cost of a superior machine.I have posted pictures of some of the noted deficiencies. YES, I would buy the machine again. And, the quality of my interactions with the seller made it much less stressful.
