We have used this immersion blender to make Hollandaise sauce for eggs benedict and we used it for making hummus. Honestly i was expecting a decent experience with it but it definitely overperformed my expectations. The attachments work wonderful, the blender itself has plenty of power, it is super easy to take apart and clean. For the most part is has replaced both my food processor and blender for quick and smaller jobs. I like it so much i actually bought my daughter one a week later.I really like the versatility of this unit with different attachments and containers included. My only real complaint is it is a bit difficult to remove from containers. The two buttons have to be pushed really hard and also hold onto the motor unit at the same time. Could be better but not horrible after getting accustomed to it.excellent, the best I have boughtThe adjustable speed never worked but I only used it for shakes and the high speed worked for my purpose so I kept it. I used it about 3 times a week to blend a banana, protein powder and water and it quit after 18 months. My name brand one before this on lasted over 3 years with the same use.I used the hand blender first and was surprised at how easy it was to use! It blends frozen fruits easily and was great for my smoothie. But one of the cups came cracked which is why I couldn’t give a full star review.I purchased this to replace my kitchen aid one which after years of good service had developed significant cord fraying. This one also works very well and the emulsifying attachment is pretty neat, but I expect in several years time the fixed mounted cord will also wear our. I wish the cords could be replaced. I hate trashing an otherwise perfectly good tool. I tried repairing the kitchen aid one with tape several times and that extended the life a bit. But even still…the fraying was more than the tape could handle.Versatile blender, I use it almost everyday, specialy the shopper attachment. I but this 1 year ago and still works and looks like new, the blending power is good.
