I bought this as an attachment for my Cuisinart food processor. I use it to make (mead) bread dough for Keto bread. Easy to clean off the sticky dough without slicing your fingers.Small blade but does a great job. I have used it for egg salad and I recently used to to mash up soft fruit to make jam. Great buy.You have to make sure that you do not over mix dough. The bade is much faster than a Kitchenaid stand mixer. Worth the money if you do not have a stand mixer and you like making bread,I needed to replace my old blade and this works great.I bought this dough attachment because my food processor did not come with one. I tried it out a couple of weeks ago, and it worked fine. I wish the plastic blades were a bit longer. Some of the flour gets caught in the corner of the container rather than being mixed with the dough that gathers toward the center of the blade.the right tool for the job, and you don't lose fingers trying to get dough off during cleanup.This was the primary reason I bought the Cuisinart. Saw it on test kitchen making pizza dough.I purchased a metal Univen replacement DLC-001TX stainless steel blade for my DLC-7 Pro at the same time I purchased this dough blade and found the same situation with both: the fit is very loose. This dough blade, if carefully checked, has 1 3/8" of travel or "slop" at the outer circumference of the blade before it meets the plastic shaft/stem on rotation. In a machine with this much torque and a thin plastic blade moving a large ball of dough, SOMETHING HAS TO GIVE - and it won't be long! I noticed the other positive reviews are a good bit older than mine, as I write this. I'm guessing the design has been changed or, more likely, the Chinese manufacturer. I believe these components, for the old Cuisinart processors, now made in China, rather than Japan where they were originally manufactured, will prove to be inadequate to the task, i.e. junk! I have not used mine yet and it is going to be returned today. Incidentally, I mention both inferior products because, having a lot of years experience in online purchasing leads me to conclude that, like so many other items, these replacement parts (no matter who sells them online) are, most likely, manufactured in one (maybe two) plants in China. If you're purchasing these parts, I would recommend VERY HIGHLY that you pay particular attention to the date of the reviews. I am returning BOTH of mine (unused) today.I bought this blade from this vendor. When I received it was not the correct blade. I called the vendor on a Saturday . They identified the incorrect product and said they would immediately send me a new blade and postage for the returned product. They did . They were very professional and their price was the best. I would buy from them again This blade is great for me. I have always made bread by hand. This blade makes it possible to get smooth, perfect dough in minutes. My french bread was light and fluffy . The best thing about this blade and process is that you have better control of your ingredients which will result in better results.good seller good quality and it arrived quicklyI didn't use it too much yet but the price was right and works great
