I like the size of the shakers, I won’t need to fill them often. The tops are metal, which is what I was looking for. The holes are large enough for the salt & pepper to come out but it looks as if once the smaller pepper flakes are gone, the larger ones may have a tougher time shaking through. I haven’t used them long enough to get down to the larger pepper flakes so I do not know if the holes will accommodate them, the holes just look a bit smaller than the size I had previous to this. This could be an issue down the road as these will be used for my cooking s & p shakers. I am very happy with the color and the size.
