C&S Woodpecker Delight is a "No Melt, No Waste, No Mess suet cake with a peanut base that attracts the "BEST" variety of wild birds to your backyard buffet. Quality ingredients and special processes allow this suet to be fed year round resulting in successful wild bird feeding for consumers. Wild Bird Suet is traditionally fed in vinyl - coated wire cages. They are inexpensive and durable. Wire dimensions vary depending on how starling or squirrel resistant you want your feeder to be. The cages, or baskets, hold from 1 - several C&S Suet Cakes or Bricks. The cages may be hung from branches, tree trunks, or hooks. There are also several designs available combining wire with wood or plastic.

I so far have C&S 12529 Orange Delight Suet, 11.75-Ounce and the C & S Products Berry Delight, 12-Piece out for the birds. While the Berry Delight was being ignored (going to try again during the winter, just might be wrong time of year for the birds), the Orange was a hit. Once I put this one out, this one became the hit.The birds still eat the orange, but every bird I have been attracting recently has had a go with this one. In West Michigan I have had Hairy Woodpeckers, and Tufted Titmouses go after both, while American Goldfinches, Black-capped Chickadees, and Northern Cardinals have gone after this one only.Being that the Heath cakes are made in my hometown, I had to try one for $0.99. They don't compare to C&S. It was 65 degrees out when I put it in the holder and it was soft and very malleable. Unlike the C&S cakes.If you only plan to get one, get this one, if you plan on getting two cakes, get this one and the Orange Delight.
